Dr. Fatema Sharmin (Anny) is a qualified and experienced anaesthesiologist with extensive expertise in perioperative patient care. She completed her MBBS from Ibrahim Medical College and subsequently undertook her internship at BIRDEM. She further advanced her professional qualifications by obtaining DA and FCPS in Anaesthesiology.

She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital, Dhanmondi, and is also working as a Consultant in Anaesthesiology at Dr. Fazlul Haque Colorectal Hospital Ltd.

Dr. Anny has significant experience in administering anaesthesia for a wide spectrum of surgical procedures, with particular expertise in colorectal surgeries, including colorectal cancer, haemorrhoids (piles), fistula, and anal fissure. Her clinical responsibilities include thorough preoperative evaluation, safe and effective intraoperative anaesthesia management, and comprehensive postoperative care.

She is a Life Member of the Bangladesh Society of Anaesthesiologists (BSA) and the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She also has a special interest in pain medicine.She is known for her professionalism, effective communication, and strong commitment to patient safety and quality care, making her an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team.
