Internationally Trained Colorectal Surgeon

Dr. Sakib Sarwat Haque obtained his MBBS degree in 2016 from Bangladesh Medical College under the University of Dhaka and completed his internship in 2017. In 2023, he achieved the MRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and subsequently earned the FCPS degree in 2024 on his first attempt. Sakib Sarwat Haque is deeply committed to colorectal care. He is currently serving as a Consultant Surgeon at Dr. Fazlul Haque Colorectal Hospital Limited, where he is dedicated to making a significant contribution to the advancement of colorectal treatment. He completed his professional training at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU), Bangladesh Medical College Hospital (BMC), and Dhaka Medical College Hospital. During this training period, he gained extensive experience in providing appropriate medical care to patients from all backgrounds. To enhance his expertise in colorectal surgery, he has participated in international seminars and professional programs on colon and rectal surgery in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, India, and Nepal. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) and a life member of the Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (SOSB) and the Society of Endo-Laparoscopic Surgeons of Bangladesh (SELSB).
